The Greenhouses of the Botanical Garden of Liège
The Greenhouses of the Botanical Garden of Liège form a unique space of over 1000 m² dedicated to global plant diversity. Managed by the Maison Liégeoise de l’Environnement, they house a remarkable collection of tropical, subtropical, and desert plants. A true place of wonder, discovery, and awareness, the greenhouses welcome the public through visits, workshops, and events. They also carry on a rich botanical tradition initiated in the 19th century, notably by Charles Morren, a pioneer of artificial vanilla pollination. Victorian in style and listed as heritage, they offer a poetic and living space dedicated to biodiversity and knowledge sharing.
